Capresso 455 Review - Best Price Coffee Maker

Welcome to this review of the Capresso 455 CoffeeTEAM thermal stainless coffee maker. With this review I would like to try and inform the reader of the key issues and feature of this machine and hopefully allow them to reach a point where they can make a confident decision as to whether this is the machine for them or not.

The Capresso 455 comes with a number of really great features the first of which is the grinder. This is will come as a very welcome addition to the majority of people, as it removes the necessity of a separate grinder. While some people might enjoy grinding their coffee separately, I am definitely not one of those people, then I get up first thing in the morning, I want my coffee as fast as possible no messing about. This feature really does shave valuable minutes off your morning routine.

The grinder function is comparatively excellent and we can program the grinding to occur independently from us with no interaction whatsoever. There have been reports of Dark roasted coffee beans causing people problems when the machine tries to push the beans into the grind chamber to begin the grinding process. It is possible that the beans can stick to the sides and not be transferred properly. 

The bean chamber can hold enough beans for 18 cups of coffee while the water reservoir can only hold enough water for 10 cups, which unfortunately means that if you regularly brew a 10 cup pot of coffee, you will have to refill the bean chamber every time you make a pot.

The grinder has different settings so we can adjust the strength of the grinds. If you prefer dark roasted coffee it would probably be a good idea to use the coarser grind setting.

The Thermal carafe is a welcome feature, and I think that with this addition it is safe to say that the Capresso 445 CoffeeTEAM is the most complete coffee maker on the market at the moment. The thermal carafe can keep the coffee hot and fresh for over 4 hours, and with a 10 cup pot that should be more than enough time.
